Are you currently looking for your next locum role? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Senior Practitioner to join a dynamic Children's Social Work Team in Folkestone on a locum basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families in the community.
Your new role
- Provide high-quality social work services to children and their families.
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions.
- Supervise and support junior staff and social work students.
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
- Participate in case conferences, reviews, and other relevant meetings.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Social Worker with a valid Social Work England registration.
- Significant experience in children's social work, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
