Your new company

A committed and growing consultancy that provides quantity surveying, project management and CDM consultancy services. This consultancy specialises in the retail, commercial/office, leisure, and residential sectors but also has extensive experience of many other project types.

Your new role

As a CDM Consultant, you’ll play a key role in delivering Principal Designer and Client Advisor services. You will be working on an exciting range of projects ranging from 1 month to 4+ years in duration. The successful candidate will mostly be fulfilling the duties of a CDM Principal Designer appointed by the Client as well as additional Client CDM duties when required. Projects will typically be within London and the Southeast, but sometimes further afield. This is a client‑facing role where your communication skills and ability to manage varied workloads will shine. You will have a great chance for progression and have professional investment with qualifications, accreditations and training.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating with designers to collate design risk and hazard information.
  • Preparing project documentation (F10 notifications, PCI, Health & Safety files).
  • Managing project administration and quality assurance.
  • Attending client review meetings, design meetings, and project meetings.

What you'll need to succeed

  • NEBOSH General (Construction preferred)

  • A design qualification or experience is desirable.

  • Minimum 2 years in a consultancy environment, ideally within relevant sectors.

  • Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Proactive, flexible, resilient, and well presented

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Organised, motivated, and able to meet deadlines
