Channels Manager | Burnley (Hybrid Working Available) | £32,000 (DOE) + Quarterly Bonus Scheme

Role Overview
I am recruiting for a well-established business based in Burnley, who are looking for a proactive, commercially minded Channels Manager to oversee and grow presence across key platforms. You will work closely with internal sales teams, external partners, and marketing to drive performance, manage reporting, and ensure smooth trading operations. The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with hybrid working available.

Your new role
As Channel Manager you will be responsible for:
  • Oversee performance and operations across large online businesses and marketplaces.
  • Collaborate with the internal and external sales team to align channel strategies with sales goals.
  • Monitor and report on trading performance, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Work with marketing to optimize product listings, promotions, and campaigns across channels.
  • Help transition marketing efforts in-house and support recruitment of stronger marketing talent.
  • Deliver regular reports on channel performance, budgeting, and competitor analysis.
  • Use data to inform decisions and improve ROI across platforms.
  • Support the Website Manager in preparing for peak trading periods like Christmas.
  • Ensure product visibility and alignment with channel strategies.
  • Coordinate with departments including import, sales, and marketing to ensure smooth operations.
  • Understand product technicalities and market trends to inform strategy.

What We’re Looking For
  • A “can-do” attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Proven ability to research competitors, understand brand positioning, and drive commercial success.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting tools.
  • Experience in eCommerce, marketplace management, or channel sales.
  • Knowledge of import businesses and furniture products is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and managing multiple stakeholders.
