Your new role
As NPD Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of innovative food products from concept to launch. Working closely with commercial, technical, and production teams, you will manage the NPD pipeline, ensuring all projects meet customer expectations, quality standards, and commercial targets. You will oversee kitchen trials, factory scale-ups, and customer presentations, while also identifying trends and opportunities to drive category growth. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with real influence over the future product range.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong background in food product development, ideally within chilled or fresh food manufacturing. Experience managing NPD projects from concept through to launch is essential, along with excellent communication and project management skills. You’ll be commercially aware, customer-focused, and passionate about food innovation. A food science or related degree is desirable, and experience working with major UK retailers will be a distinct advantage.
