Your new organisation
We are recruiting for a Registered Manager for a new home in Solihull, which is a 2 EBD and 1 bed 16+ provision children’s home. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to lead an ambitious team and oversee the day-to-day running of the children's home. As part of this role, you will be taking the home through the recruitment and Ofsted process, therefore, experience of this would be beneficial.
Your new role:
In this Registered Manager role, you will provide high quality care services to support all children and young people living in the home. You will manage, supervise, and assist staff members in the professional development of the home regarding policies and procedures being followed, completed training, and risk assessments being up to date. You will have responsibility for liaising with healthcare professionals and build relationships with the parents/ carers and other family members of the service users
What you'll need to succeed:
You will have significant experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential home is essential, including understanding of legislation and quality standards. Ideally experience working within a DoLS environment would be ideal.
What you will get in return
The is a brand-new job for a Registered Manager for this Solihull Children’s home. The role will be working Monday to Friday with the expectation to be available for weekend on-call shifts (1 in 3). Initially, this role will be on a temporary contract for up to 6 months with the potential for extending it. The successful candidate will receive a daily rate of between £400 and £450.
