A private sector organisation is recruiting for an RTA Claims Handler/ Administrator based in Belfast.
Your new role
As an RTA Claims Handler/Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth progression of Road Traffic Accident claims from initial instruction through to resolution. Working closely with senior team members, you will:
- Review and process incoming claim information in line with internal procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and electronic records throughout the claims' lifecycle.
- Liaise with clients, insurers, and internal colleagues to gather information and progress cases.
- Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide administrative support to legal professionals, helping ensure cases move efficiently and accurately.
This role is ideal for someone confident working in a fast-paced claims environment with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this position, you should have:
- Previous experience in claims handling—ideally with exposure to RTA files or a similar insurance claims environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing information.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with case management or claims systems.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
