An opportunity has arisen for a CAD Technician to join a well‑established CAD department within a leading organisation in the washroom solutions sector. They are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a strong work ethic and commitment to precision.
Your New Role
As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed technical drawings to support a wide variety of customer projects. You will ideally be proficient in AutoCAD or 2D CAD software and able to work with a high level of accuracy while meeting strict deadlines.
Working in a precise, customer‑focused team, you will adopt a flexible approach to your workload and be committed to achieving daily targets while maintaining high standards in both customer service and technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with customers to agree design details
- Preparing and revising CAD layout drawings
- Using data‑entry software to generate production documentation
- Planning and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Providing technical support to customers and colleagues
- Responding to customer queries in line with Customer Service Standards
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- A methodical and structured approach to tasks
- Strong telephone manner with confident communication skills
- Ability to produce professional, grammatically correct correspondence
- A positive, solution‑focused attitude toward challenges
