A leading organisation within the Irish and UK precast concrete sector is seeking to appoint a 2D/3D CAD Technician to join their growing design team in Newry/Monaghan area. With a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality construction solutions, the business continues to expand and invest in its people and projects.
Your new role
As a 2D 3D CAD Technician, you will play a key role within the design function, supporting the delivery of customer and production drawings.
Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing customer and production drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
- Collaborating with architects, engineers and wider design team members
- Liaising with manufacturing coordinators to ensure accurate implementation of technical designs
- Supporting the Design Manager to meet project deadlines and deliverables
- Assisting with technical detailing and service arrangement drawings where required
- Attending and contributing to design team meetings
- Coordinating effectively with external professionals and stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, the candidate must have:
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
- Experience with Revit is desirable but not essential
- Proven experience preparing high-quality customer and working drawings
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Experience in residential and/or commercial building design
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
- Knowledge of M&E design, construction detailing, and building regulations would be advantageous
