Job Overview
- We are recruiting for a MEP Revit Technician to join our Project Design Team of Architectural, Electrical & Mechanical designers to expand our MEP Resource.
- We need an ideal candidate who is able to work in 1 of 2 offices in Cardiff.
Main Duties
- Producing detailed, coordinated As Built & Design models accurately.
- Collaborating with the Architectural & MEP team to deliver quality BIM projects to agreed deadlines.
- Quality control of BIM models and associated drawings, schedules and outputs.
- Developing sketches and concepts into drawing details with a good understanding of the Health & Safety and what is feasible.
- Assisting our MEP designers with workload and project commitments.
- Contribution to advancement of the team's Revit techniques.
- Managing resources of your workload and effectively communicating to the Leadership team.
- Assisting Site based team with project workload.
What we are looking for
- Experience working with Autodesk Revit & AutoCAD software.
- Effective and flexible communication skills and experience of working with a variety of collaborators.
- Experience in managing your own resources on multiple projects.
- A proactive approach to your own learning and technical development.
- An interest in digital design tools and scripting to improve efficiency and workflows.
- Experience in processing scan data desirable.
- Experience and awareness of automation tools and Navisworks
- Ability to work as a independently and within the team.
