Indirect procurement

An interim procurement opportunity working for this national employer of choice with offices near Milton Keynes. Available on a hybrid basis with the need to be in the office 1 day per week, this role offers a high degree of autonomy across a range of Indirect spend.

Key areas of focus include: collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement framework agreement improvements; help develop and embed sourcing strategies using category management principles; identifying and awarding suppliers; drafting, negotiating, and finalising contractual agreements and ensuring measures are in place to drive conformance; deliver cost savings through supplier management and strategic negotiations; act as an ambassador for procurement in leading the category management process internally and seeking opportunities for improvement; and the provision of detailed reports and performance tracking to the SLT.

To succeed in this role, you will need demonstrable Indirect procurement experience with exposure to category management; strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills; and experience in vendor management, performance reporting, and supply chain optimisation. With a collaborative approach to your work, you will be able to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
