Buyer: Precision Manufacturing | Lincoln | £35-40,000

Start a journey with a company where your talents shape cutting-edge solutions for global markets. This Lincolnshire-based manufacturer has quietly led its niche for decades, earning a reputation for precision, quality, and relentless innovation. With a close-knit team driving cutting-edge product development, they’re now looking for a skilled Buyer to help fuel their continued success.

This is your chance to take ownership of a supply chain that keeps innovation moving. You’ll be the driving force behind sourcing the materials that bring high-performance products to life. Working closely with Production, Technical, and Sales teams, you’ll ensure every component meets rigorous safety and quality standards. From building supplier relationships to negotiating smart deals, your decisions will shape the future of the business in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment.

You’ll be joining a team that values curiosity, accountability, and mutual respect. Ideas are welcomed, and your voice matters. The company offers a 4.5-day work week (38 hours), giving you time to recharge and focus. They’re invested in your growth, providing funding and mentoring for CIPS qualifications to elevate your career. Add in a competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience and it’s clear this is a place where talent is recognised and nurtured.

Who We’re Looking For
You’ll need at least three years of procurement experience, ideally in manufacturing or engineering, and a knack for getting things done. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and the ability to interpret technical drawings or data packs are key. You should be confident with Microsoft Office, strong with numbers, and an excellent communicator. A valid UK driving licence for occasional supplier visits is required.

Why This Role?
This is a chance to join a thriving, innovative manufacturer with a global reach. You’ll have the freedom to shape processes, the support to grow professionally, and the satisfaction of contributing to processes that make a difference. With a shorter work week and a culture that champions collaboration and quality, this role offers both impact and balance.

Ready to Take the Next Step?
If this sounds like the kind of challenge you’ve been looking for, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today to become part of a team pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in Lincolnshire’s manufacturing scene.
