Purchasing Administrator | Forfar | Ongoing Temporary Contract | ASAP Start | £13.50/Hour
Your new company
Hays Business Support is delighted to be supporting a large local organisation to recruit for a Purchasing Administrator on an ongoing temporary basis.
Your new role
- Process purchase/sales orders and maintain accurate records
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability and delivery schedules
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand
- Resolve order discrepancies, delivery issues and invoice queries
- Maintain and update supplier databases and documentation
- Generate reports on purchasing activity, cost savings and supplier performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a purchasing or sales administrative role (preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment)
- Excellent written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
- High levels of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
