Senior Contracts Officer role with Nuclear Waste Services (NWS).

Your new role

NWS are looking for a Senior Contract Officer to join their commercial function. You will take responsibility for the contract management department. You will be the main point of contact for both the pre and post-contract management of Professional Services framework agreements and contracts.

As a Senior Contract Officer you will be responsible for managing a couple of junior contract professionals, providing them with guidance and help when necessary. It will be your responsibility to lead their learning and development programme and help them progress in their roles.

This is a perfect opportunity for you to progress in the world of contract management, allowing you to gain senior experience to one day become a contracts manager or procurement manager. What you'll need to succeed

  • Contract management experience, ideally within the public sector.
  • Line management experience
  • Experience with NEC Contracts or similar
  • Ideally MCIPS qualified
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
