Your new company
Our client is recruiting for a Procurement Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with some flexibility offered on start and finish times. The role is based in Johnstone, and hybrid working is available following successful completion of the probation period – typically 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. The office is easily accessible by public transport and also offers on-site parking.

Your new role
As a Procurement Specialist within the organisation's Finance department, you will support data-driven procurement decisions by analysing supplier spend, contract performance, and sourcing opportunities. You’ll also help optimise the Procurement catalogue, ensuring accurate metadata and efficient procurement processes. Key responsibilities include spend analysis, KPI tracking, contract and category insight, and creating dashboards and reports to support procurement leadership.

What you'll need to succeed
  • 2–4 years of experience in procurement, finance, or analytics roles
  • Familiarity with ERP procurement tools
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Understanding of procurement category structures and metadata management
  • High attention to detail and ability to collaborate across finance and procurement
