The school is proud of its collaborative culture, well‑established Business department, and supportive senior leadership team who champion professional development. This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a thriving environment that values innovation, aspiration and genuine impact on learner outcomes.
As the school prepares for continued growth in KS4 and KS5 pathways, they are seeking a passionate Business Studies Teacher who can bring energy, expertise and a real‑world commercial lens to the curriculum.

Your New Role:
As a Business Studies Teacher, you will deliver high‑quality teaching across KS4 and KS5 (GCSE, A‑Level and BTEC pathways), using creative, exam‑focused approaches that build confidence and develop applied understanding of key business principles.
This full‑time temporary role (Monday–Friday) includes:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned to relevant exam specifications
Supporting learners to achieve strong outcomes through effective assessment and feedback
Preparing students for internal assessments and external examinations
Contributing to curriculum development and departmental resource sharing
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, progress and safeguarding
This is a fantastic chance to take ownership of a full timetable within a supportive, progressive department that values collaboration and reflective practice.

What You’ll Need to Exceed:
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
QTS/QTLS (PGCE, CertEd or equivalent pathway)
Recent experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 and/or KS5
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver dynamic, curriculum‑aligned lessons
Effective classroom management and evidence of positively impacting pupil progress
A reflective, growth‑minded approach and commitment to inclusive practice
An Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willingness to obtain)
ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply – full mentoring and departmental support available

What You’ll Get in Return
A consistent five‑day timetable in a supportive, well‑resourced department
Competitive daily rate — paid to scale or equivalent
Weekly pay and a dedicated consultant supporting your placement
Access to ongoing CPD opportunities and collaborative planning materials
The chance to strengthen your KS4/KS5 experience in a respected Bradford setting
Potential extension beyond the initial temporary period, dependent on performance and departmental needs
