Business Development Manager - Armagh based covering Northern Ireland area

This is an amazing opportunity to join a well-established successful family business that have been trading for over 80 years and have a fantastic reputation in the marketplace. Over the successful 80 year period this company has been extremely innovative diversifying into different products and markets. They are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to cover Northern Ireland area. Salary for this role is £40k-£45k plus bonus.

Your new role

The company foresees the successful person spending 70%-80% of their time on the road meeting existing loyal customers to continue to build on the relationships and also meeting potential new customers. The other 20%-30% you will be in their offices in Armagh. They have identified there is huge potential for growth in this area. Main duties include:

• Develop and execute business development plans to achieve and exceed sales targets, with a focus on expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth.
• Utilise your expertise in creating detailed reports and utilising computer savvy to analyse sales data, market trends, and customer preferences. Use this data-driven approach to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
• Lead and inspire the van-sales and distribution teams, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential clients. Leverage this information to develop targeted sales strategies.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service to ensure their satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess sales performance and develop actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Act as a brand ambassador to network, showcase our products, and generate leads.
