Your new company
We are a nationally recognised housing provider with a strong commitment to innovation and resident wellbeing. As part of our strategic roadmap, we are launching a pioneering Smart Homes Programme to transform how we manage properties and support tenants. Phase 1 will see the deployment of smart sensors across 1,000 homes targeting at-risk, retrofit and new builds, to proactively detect issues such as damp and mould, reduce maintenance costs, and empower residents with self-help tools. To lead the business analysis function for this programme, we are seeking a highly experienced enthusiastic Business Analyst with a high-energy approach and a passion for data-driven transformation.
Your new role
As the sole Business Analyst on the project, you will lead all aspects of business analysis, driving requirements gathering across multiple workstreams, defining future-state processes and supporting data privacy assessments. Working closely with the Project Manager and a mixed team of contractors and permanent staff, you’ll ensure the successful integration of IoT sensor data into our Azure platform and contribute to the development of Power BI dashboards for real-time monitoring. You’ll energise teams, drive stakeholder engagement and produce high-quality documentation that underpins the success of this strategic initiative.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Business Analyst with proven experience in IoT, Smart Homes or Social Housing. You bring a strong understanding of sensor technologies, Azure IoT Hub and Power BI, along with excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills. You’re proactive, sharp, and delivery-focused, able to produce tangible outputs quickly and inspire confidence across the team. Experience with DPIAs, data privacy and process mapping is essential, as is your ability to lead with clarity and purpose in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.
What you'll get in return
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a transformative programme that’s redefining how housing providers use technology to improve lives. Alongside a competitive day rate, you’ll gain exposure to cutting-edge IoT solutions, strategic digital delivery, and the chance to leave a lasting impact on the future of social housing.
