Hays has partnered with a Tier 1 bank to appoint multiple Business Analysts to a large program of work within the Markets Transformation space. With an initial 6-month contract on offer and a view to extend, these roles are ideal for strong Markets BAs with a thorough understanding of the trade lifecycle.

Duration: Until 31/12/25 + potential extension
Working Arrangements: Hybrid (3 days per week in office in Canary Wharf)
Rate: £700/day inside via Umbrella

Your new role and what you'll need to succeed

As one of the Business Analysts, your role will revolve primarily around assessing the current state of the organisation's market/trade architecture, conducting a gap analysis to look at what exists and map out new workflows, and then taking the business on the journey to get to its future state. Your core duties will include:

• Leading diverse working groups (business side to quantitative/technical side) to identify key data elements and design TOM/architecture.
• Translate requirements and target architecture into delivery milestones, and agree project plans with key stakeholders.
• A strong background in trades/the trade life cycle will be essential for this role, with experience working on cross-asset or FO analytics builds + experience working directly with business and quant teams in single asset class delivery very highly regarded.
• Previous experience in dealing with large datasets/relational databases using SQL will be beneficial for these roles.
