Job Description
As a Power BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights for our organisation. You’ll work closely with various teams to create high-performance data visualisations and develop complex data models. Your work will enable us to make informed business decisions and streamline our operations.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Transformation:
Extract data from multiple sources (such as databases, spreadsheets, or cloud services) using Power Query.
Validate data quality, identify missing values, and address inconsistencies.
Transform raw data into a usable format for analysis.
Data Visualisation and Reporting:
Design interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Utilise data modelling techniques and DAX functions to create user-friendly visuals.
Present insights through compelling charts, graphs, and other visual representations.
Collaboration:
Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders.
Understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
Collaborate with the technology team to build and maintain BI applications.
Data Storytelling:
Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Create reports that provide meaningful business intelligence.
Qualifications:
Experience in data preparation and data warehousing projects. Proficiency in Microsoft BI stack, including Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS. Familiarity with scripting, programming, and SQL server.
