Your new role
As the Management Accountant / Commercial Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing commercial insight to support business growth.

- Leading the finance function for the organisation’s operations
- Preparing and presenting monthly management accounts and board pack commentary
- Posting month-end journals and conducting periodic P&L reviews
- Managing budgeting and forecasting processes
- Supporting and leading financial discussions with key stakeholders, including local government bodies
- Providing commercial analysis to support strategic initiatives
- Utilising financial systems such as Oracle Fusion (experience beneficial but not essential)
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in both management accounting and commercial finance
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience in preparing board packs and leading financial discussions
- Proficiency in financial systems; experience with Oracle Fusion is advantageous.
