Senior Business Analyst - Bristol - Permanent - Up to c£60k - Hybrid
Hays are working with an established law firm to support the recruitment of a Senior Business Analyst to join an established Transformation and Projects team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic technology and business change initiatives within a leading UK professional services organisation known for its collaborative culture, sector expertise, and commitment to innovation and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workshops and sessions with internal teams and clients to design new services, improve operations, and deliver strategic initiatives.
- Gather, analyse, and prioritise requirements; work with stakeholders to ensure alignment and value.
- Assess processes, identify improvements, and use data insights to recommend actionable changes.
- Resolve complex scoping issues and stakeholder conflicts to enable clear project delivery.
- Produce high-quality documentation, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships across teams and with external suppliers.
- Contribute to business cases and solution options, highlighting benefits and recommendations.
- Mentor junior analysts and apprentices, sharing best practices.
- Collaborate with testing teams to ensure UAT aligns with agreed requirements.
Key Requirements
- Strong background in business and systems analysis, ideally within the legal sector / professional services
- Proficient in core BA techniques (e.g., use cases, process diagrams).
- Skilled in data gathering, facilitation, and requirements management.
- Able to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences and influence effectively.
- Trusted problem-solver with strong analytical thinking and commercial awareness.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities.
