Your New Role
As the Internal Sales & Broker Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales performance and optimising broker relationships. Leading a dedicated internal sales team, you will ensure high levels of engagement, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while working closely with field-based teams to maximise sales opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Internal Sales Team Management – Leading, mentoring, and managing the internal sales team to ensure continuous development and high performance. You will oversee daily operations, implement efficient sales processes, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to align with business objectives.
- Broker & Introducer Relationship Management – Acting as the primary point of contact for brokers and introducers, you will develop strong partnerships, negotiate agreements, and monitor performance to ensure targets are met. You will collaborate with internal teams to create broker-specific communications and materials that enhance engagement.
- Sales Strategy & Performance – Working closely with senior leadership, you will develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth. You will analyse market trends, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and provide regular sales reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Customer Engagement & Lead Generation – Overseeing lead generation initiatives, you will leverage CRM tools to track conversions and optimise sales strategies. You will collaborate with marketing to align outreach efforts with brand positioning and manage the team’s customer engagement activities to identify cross-sales opportunities.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you will be a results-driven sales professional with a strong background in financial services, broker management, and internal sales leadership. You will have:
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring an internal sales team.
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate with brokers and introducers.
- A strategic mindset, capable of analysing sales data and market trends to drive business growth.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and external partners.
- A customer-focused approach, with a passion for optimising sales performance and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Experience in CRM systems and sales analytics tools to track lead generation and conversion.
