We are currently recruiting an experienced Skilled Labourer to join a tier 1 contractor on a long‑term commercial construction project. The successful candidate will support site operations, assist trades, and carry out a range of skilled and semi‑skilled tasks to ensure smooth project delivery.
This role is ideal for someone with strong all‑round labouring experience, confidence in using tools and equipment, and a solid understanding of commercial construction environments.
Your new role
- Assist tradespeople including roofers, joiners, bricklayers, groundworkers, plumbers, and electricians.
- Carry out skilled labouring duties such as:
- Basic bricklaying and blockwork
- Plasterboarding and stud wall installation
- Rip‑outs and internal strip‑outs
- Ground preparation, drainage work, and concrete mixing
- Installation support for fixings, fencing, and structural elements
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and competently.
- Perform general site duties including lifting, carrying, moving materials, and site tidy‑ups.
