Hays Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced Bricklayer to join our client’s team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to work on a variety of projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and contributing to the successful completion of construction projects.
Your new role
- Laying bricks, blocks, and other types of building materials in mortar
- Constructing and repairing walls, partitions, arches, and other structures
- Interpreting blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and calculate materials required
- Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and building codes
- Collaborating with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a bricklayer
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and methods
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Valid CSCS card
