Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payments.
- Maintain supplier records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage payment runs and monitor outstanding payables.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Generate and issue customer invoices in line with trading terms.
- Monitor debtor balances, chase overdue payments, and maintain a clean AR ledger.
- Reconcile customer accounts and support credit control activity.
Multicurrency & Reconciliations
- Process transactions across multiple currencies and maintain accurate FX records.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations across several accounts.
- Assist with month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments.
Profit & Loss (P&L) Support
- Support preparation of monthly P&L reports, ensuring accurate allocation of costs and revenues.
- Provide variance analysis and assist with management reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper within consumer goods, retail, or e‑commerce environments.
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, and general bookkeeping principles.
- Confident handling multicurrency transactions and reconciliations.
- Experience with Xero accounting system
