Your new role

As Assistant Sales Manager, you will support Regional Sales Managers in driving container sales and trading activity across the Mediterranean region (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey) and the UK. You’ll play a key role in managing customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and supporting digital marketing campaigns. This is a dynamic role with scope for growth and increased responsibility within the sales function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting sales efforts to achieve pricing, volume, and inventory targets.
  • Managing and developing customer relationships to position the company as a preferred supplier.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Assisting with digital marketing campaigns and CRM lead follow-up.
  • Coordinating with logistics to manage inventory movements.
  • Providing cover for Regional Sales Managers and liaising with Customer Service Representatives.
  • Occasional travel within the assigned region.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.0–2 years of experience in customer relationship management or sales support.
  • Fluency in English and Italian is essential; Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive, energetic approach and willingness to travel.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
