This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Northern Ireland’s leading and award-winning communications agencies. With a strong reputation for delivering high-impact campaigns across a diverse client base, this agency is known for its collaborative culture, creative thinking, and commitment to excellence. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a strategic and experienced Account Director to lead on high-profile PR and events projects.
Your new role
As Account Director, you will take the lead on a portfolio of high-profile clients, overseeing the development and execution of integrated PR and communications strategies. You’ll act as a senior advisor, providing strategic counsel and direction while managing complex client relationships and multi-channel campaigns.
You’ll be responsible for shaping compelling narratives, leading media relations, and driving creative brand activations. In addition to campaign leadership, you’ll play a key role in mentoring junior team members, contributing to new business development, and supporting the senior leadership team in achieving growth targets.
This is a fast-paced, senior-level role that requires a confident communicator, a strategic thinker, and a natural leader who thrives in a collaborative agency environment.
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior PR or communications role, ideally within an agency setting but open to in-house experience.
Proven ability to lead and deliver integrated campaigns with measurable results.
Strong commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities under pressure.
A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring and team development.
A deep understanding of the media landscape and a flair for storytelling.
A full clean driving licence and access to a car is desirable.
