Your new role
- Develop databases and reusable data assets to enhance analytical efficiency.
- Oversee and improve existing business insights reports, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Design and build reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions using SQL, Power BI, and other tools.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and interpret trends in large datasets.
- Extract and prepare data for regulatory submissions and external reporting.
- Provide expert guidance on data queries and support ad-hoc reporting requests.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in data analytics.
- Train colleagues to effectively utilise dashboards and reports.

What you'll need to succeed
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI, and DAX is essential.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake or DataBricks is preferred.
- Expertise in T-SQL to write complex queries and stored procedures.
- Understanding of database optimisation, data mining, auditing, and segmentation.
- Skilled in data visualisation and statistical techniques such as linear regression.
- Ability to conduct user acceptance testing and ensure data integrity.
- Confidence to challenge existing processes and recommend improvements.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to translate complex data for non-technical audiences.
- An open, flexible, and problem-solving mindset with a passion for data.
