Your new company
You'll be working for a global company that works within the technology industry providing software solutions.
Your new role
- Manage full life-cycle BI/reporting projects: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, documentation, and deployment.
- Develop reports using Cyberquery or other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Business Objects).
- Maintain accurate daily timesheets for customer-billable work.
- Prepare and deliver training sessions for customers and internal staff.
- Create training materials, quick reference guides, and solution documentation.
- Collaborate with global teams (US and AU) during induction and ongoing training, requiring flexible working hours.
- Provide technical pre-sales support and conduct product demonstrations.
- Represent the company at trade events to promote products and support sales initiatives.
- Provide courteous and prompt support to customers via phone, email, and remote sessions.
- Assist with installation and configuration of software on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Troubleshoot relational database connectivity and web-based application issues.
- Provide technical pre-sales support and conduct product demonstrations.
- Represent the company at trade events to promote products and support sales initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed - Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, including tables, indexes, and keys.
- Experience troubleshooting database connectivity and web technologies (HTML, browsers).
- Background in software development and scripting/reporting languages.
- Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Cyberquery, Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours during training periods.
