As a Fleet Workshop Technician, you will be part of a dynamic and skilled team responsible for maintaining and repairing the fleet vehicles to the highest standards.
What Awaits You?
- Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electronics, and hybrid/electric systems.
- Act as a technical expert, providing guidance and mentorship to the team.
- Promote adherence to safety and quality standards, and participate in ongoing manufacturer training.
- Utilize diagnostic software and tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with various business areas and customers to explain technical issues.
- Ensure customer concerns are addressed and resolved to maintain high satisfaction.
- Document repairs thoroughly and ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
- Contribute to process improvement and team meetings/training sessions.
- Maintain diagnostic tools and equipment, and deliver key performance indicators.
- Perform pre-delivery inspections, vehicle preparations, and customer repairs as needed.
- Strive for continuous improvement in efficiency and quality.
- Fully responsible for fleet vehicle maintenance, health checks, and quality control.
- Shared responsibility for upgrade and conversion of vehicles for sales and events.
What Should You Bring Along?
- University degree in mechanical or automotive engineering, or equivalent.
- Significant relevant industry experience as a Master Technician or in a similar technical role.
- Qualified and certified to Blitz 4 AUS / HV-3 Level or Hybrid/Electric Vehicle High Voltage qualification.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of vehicle systems.
- Expertise in using diagnostic tools, software, and specialised equipment.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge and experience of working safely with high voltage systems and components.
