Your new role
You'll step into a key position as a Contract Audit Senior, taking ownership of the external audit process across a wide portfolio of clients. From planning through to final reporting, you’ll lead engagements, ensure compliance with auditing standards, and deliver timely, accurate results.
This role involves:
- Designing and executing audit strategies aligned with client needs and risk profiles
- Working closely with audit managers and partners to set audit objectives and timelines
- Conducting detailed audit fieldwork and analytical reviews of financial statements
- Identifying control deficiencies or areas for process improvement, and presenting findings to stakeholders
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships by acting as a consistent point of contact
- Reviewing and coaching junior audit staff to ensure quality, consistency, and professional development
- Managing documentation and audit evidence in line with regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with internal departments where necessary to resolve audit issues
- Contributing to the improvement of internal audit methodologies and best practices
What you'll need to succeed
- CA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of auditing standards
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Capable of working independently and managing deadlines
- Experience across multiple sectors is advantageous
