Your new role

Whilst this is a typical audit role in certain respects, the role offers exposure to specialist work, including:

  • Preparing and reviewing BFI certificate applications, tax credit estimates, and production expenditure analyses for tax returns.
  • Conducting audits of production cost reports, funding applications, and co-productions.
  • Developing business plans, financial models, and valuations for film/TV titles, libraries, income streams, and other intellectual property across the film, television, and video game industries.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the sector to best undertake this specialist work.

In addition, you will ideally:

  • Be ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Have experience working in an accounting firm
  • Demonstrate strong technical audit and accounting knowledge
  • Have the ability to work cooperatively, building relationships with both colleagues and clients
