We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced audit senior to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with auditing standards, and delivering high-quality audit services to our clients. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects effectively.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities:- Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring adherence to auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review audit documentation and financial statements.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop audit strategies.
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and provide updates on audit progress.
- Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and management.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and presentations.
- Stay current with changes in auditing standards and regulations.
- Participate in business development activities, including client meetings and proposal preparation.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualifications and Skills:- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in audit within an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient at using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
