The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially minded, analytically strong Finance Business Partner. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives on turning data into insight, supporting strategic decisions, and driving performance across a dynamic retail business.
We are seeking a commercially minded, analytically strong Finance Business Partner. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives on turning data into insight, supporting strategic decisions, and driving performance across a dynamic retail business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning cycles including budgets, forecasts, and the 3-year strategic plan
- Maintain and update the Cognos database for sales, margin, income, and cost adjustments
- Prepare budget and forecast packs; deliver weekly and seasonal performance reports
- Provide ad hoc and trial-based analysis to support trading initiatives
- Own month-end reporting: journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Manage aged debt and support trading teams in achieving cash targets

What You’ll Bring:
- Fully qualified accountant (or actively studying) with strong forecasting and budgeting experience
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Cognos and Power BI is a plus
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication and influencing skills; able to work independently and collaboratively
- Resilient under pressure with a solutions-focused approach
