The Opportunity

We are seeking a commercially minded, analytically strong Finance Business Partner. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives on turning data into insight, supporting strategic decisions, and driving performance across a dynamic retail business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning cycles including budgets, forecasts, and the 3-year strategic plan
  • Maintain and update the Cognos database for sales, margin, income, and cost adjustments
  • Prepare budget and forecast packs; deliver weekly and seasonal performance reports
  • Provide ad hoc and trial-based analysis to support trading initiatives
  • Own month-end reporting: journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Manage aged debt and support trading teams in achieving cash targets
About You

What You’ll Bring:

  • Fully qualified accountant (or actively studying) with strong forecasting and budgeting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Cognos and Power BI is a plus
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Strong communication and influencing skills; able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Resilient under pressure with a solutions-focused approach
