Internal Audit Senior Manager

Your new role
In your new role, assist as part of the senior leadership of the firm's internal audit department. The key duties of your new role include:
- Management of client portfolio, liaising directly with all clients and reporting to director/partner
- Reviewing audit assignments and providing technical guidance to clients and staff as necessary
- Supervising and guiding audit assignments as necessary
- Managing, coaching and training of internal audit staff, including support for trainees and newly qualified staff
- Aiding development of department through production of tender documents and other business development tasks
- Management of the department team, and responsible for department administration
- Any other appropriate tasks, as directed
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role within a professional office environment. You will hold a professional qualification such as CIA or ACCA and be comfortable managing your own diverse portfolio of clients, being able to offer creative solutions where necessary. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical knowledge of internal audit standards alongside being a proven and experienced people manager. The successful candidate will also have excellent organisation skills, be a strong communicator and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
