Finance Manager job opportunity in Glasgow city centre

Our client, a growing international business, has an exciting new job opportunity for a qualified accountant to join them as Finance Manager.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Director, your role will be varied and responsibilities will include:
- Taking overall ownership and accountability for three of the legal entities within the group.
- Managing the statutory external audits.
- Assisting with the mandatory regulatory internal audits.
- Reviewing the annual corporate tax computations.
- Managing the quarterly VAT filing process.
- Monitoring regulatory capital and performing monthly calculations.
- Working closely with Legal & Compliance team to ensure we are complying with all regulatory requirements.
- Working in tandem with the Financial Controller and the accounting team to help produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
- Helping with the preparation of monthly management reporting packs.
- Assisting with the Group’s intercompany process.
- Assisting with the global budgeting and forecasting process.
- Assisting with the implementation of the transfer pricing policy for the group.
- Assisting with various ad-hoc projects, as required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with experience of working in a similar varied role and will thrive working in a fast-paced environment.
You will possess a blend of financial and management accounting experience coupled with strong communication and stakeholder management skills and a focus on continuous improvement.What you'll get in return
