Hays education are proudly supporting an amazing school in Warrington with the recruitment of a business manager. The school are seeking an experienced business manager to join their team in the new year, on a long term basis. This is a great opportunity to join a highly rated school.
Your new role
The main purpose of the job is to provide management of the operational business of the school to provide the best value and enhance school effectiveness. The role encompasses all aspects of the school’s finances and administration as well as personnel management, site management and contracts management. This is a varied role and the successful candidate will be involved in many aspects of school life. We are looking for somebody who is highly organised and has excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a happy and successful school team.
What you’ll need to succeed
- An enhanced DBS, or willingness to get one
- Experience using SIMS or similar systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Data analysis skills to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Knowledge of attendance legislation and guidance (Not essential, but beneficial)
