Hays Education is seeking dedicated School Administrators to join our team as we embark on a new academic year in September. Although September seems so far away, here at Hays we are already busy discussing plans with our partnership school as they begin to prepare for the new academic year. If your contract is coming to an end in July or you are looking for a new challenge, now would be a great time to register interest.
Your new role
- Greet and assist visitors, parents, and students with a warm and professional demeanour.
- Manage the school’s main reception area, ensuring it is welcoming and well-maintained.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling.
- Coordinate appointments and meetings for school staff and administration.
- Assist with the organisation of school events and activities.
- Provide general administrative support to the school leadership team.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a front of house or administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Previous experience using school systems such as SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- A friendly and approachable personality with a positive attitude.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
