Position: Assistant Store Manager
Salary: £35,625 to £43,440, plus London allowance where applicable (starting salary negotiable for the ideal candidate)
Contract Type/Working Hours: Permanent, 45 hours per week
Minimum Requirements:
- Possession of a full driving licence (or commitment to obtain one within 3 months of commencement, excluding London/M25 areas)
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Flexibility regarding working hours, including weekends and evenings
- Demonstrated management experience in a fast-paced environment with a proven history of managing, developing, and leading teams

- Assisting with deliveries, placing orders, and addressing customer enquiries
- Managing team performance and organising staff schedules
- Maximising sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, minimising costs, and optimising operational efficiency
- Assuming the Store Manager’s responsibilities in their absence
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and lead the team to achieve targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee daily operations, including stock management and store presentation
- Address customer complaints and enquiries with professionalism and efficiency
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Continuously monitor and enhance store performance through effective management practices
Person Specification:
- Experienced in people management within a fast-paced retail environment
- Open to candidates from non-food backgrounds (e.g., fashion retail) who meet the requirements
- Proven ability to lead teams in a dynamic, customer-centric environment
- Strong time management skills and a focus on operational efficiency
- Highly motivated to consistently achieve targets
- Friendly, helpful, and respectful towards customers and team members
- Capable of handling challenging situations and delivering impressive results
