Assistant Management Accountant

Your new company
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and commercially focused Assistant Management Accountant to join a growing finance team within a dynamic, multi-site UK organisation. Supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Director, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, driving robust controls, and supporting decision‑making across the UK venues.

Your new role
As Management Accountant, you will take ownership of several core accounting areas, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of all financial information. This is a broad and hands‑on role suited to someone with strong technical accounting skills, excellent analytical capability, and a proactive approach to solving problems.
Key areas of responsibility include:
  • Balance Sheet ownership – including reconciliations for Gift Cards, Deferred Revenue and Stock
  • Fixed Assets & Capex reporting – maintenance of the fixed asset register and capital expenditure oversight
  • Corporate overhead accounting & forecasting – ensuring accurate month‑end reporting and supporting the budget/forecast processes
  • Monthly revenue management – reviewing venue performance and analysing P&Ls
  • Weekly Takings Sheets – overseeing and validating UK venue weekly submissions
  • Intercompany accounting – managing all UK intercompany reporting and reconciliations
  • FP&A support – partnering with venues to provide financial insight and analysis
  • External audit support – preparing schedules and responding to auditor queries


What you'll need to succeed
  • Part‑qualified or qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of management accounting principles
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to build strong relationships across a multi‑site environment
  • A proactive problem-solver with the confidence to challenge and improve processes
