Assistant Management Accountant – Luxury Goods | West End, London

Your new role

As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the month-end process and delivering accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with preparation of management accounts and variance analysis.
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Reconciling balance sheet accounts and maintaining accurate ledgers.
  • Preparing accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
  • Collaborating with operational teams to provide financial insight.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc analysis and projects to improve reporting efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or actively studying.
  • Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar desirable).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in retail, luxury goods, or manufacturing is advantageous.
