Your new role

• Supporting senior managers with financial analysis, advice, and reporting to drive informed decision-making
• Developing robust business cases, investment appraisals, and service development proposals
• Providing detailed variance analysis and recommending solutions to address financial risks and pressures
• Supporting strategic financial planning, including identifying interdependencies, risks, and resource requirements
• Contributing to capital and financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely data
• Assisting with annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and monthly performance reporting
• Monitoring budgets and supporting budget holders to achieve financial targets
• Enhancing financial controls, policies, and reporting processes
• Engaging with internal and external audit processes and implementing recommendations
• Delivering financial training and guidance to non-finance stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience
• Proven experience in management accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Experience developing business cases and delivering financial analysis within a complex organisation
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
