Primary School Administrator Job Available in Glossop
A Primary School in Glossop is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a key role within the school, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Location: Glossop, SK13
Contract Type: Temporary for 4 Weeks, Permanent Thereafter
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide front-of-house support, welcoming visitors, parents, and pupils in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.
- Maintain accurate pupil records and assist with attendance monitoring.
- Support the leadership team with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Assist with school communications, newsletters, and event coordination.
- Liaise with external agencies and suppliers as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school office role is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the use of school MIS - SIMS, Bromcom, Arbor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
