Hays Education is seeking an experienced Assistant Head Teacher with SEMH expertise to take on an interim leadership role in a dynamic secondary school setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for an education leader passionate about improving outcomes for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational support across the school.
- Collaborate with the Interim Head Teacher to deliver school improvement plans.
- Drive high standards in teaching, learning, and pupil wellbeing.
- Lead and inspire staff teams to create a positive, inclusive environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience within an educational setting (Assistant Head Teacher, Deputy Head Teacher, or similar).
- Strong understanding of SEMH strategies and experience supporting pupils with complex needs.
- Ability to lead change and motivate staff effectively.
- Immediate availability and commitment for at least one term.
Contract Details:
- Supply basis through Hays Education.
