I am offering a Welsh-Speaking School Finance Administrator role at a Secondary School, located in Cardiff. The leadership team create a supportive environment to allow both pupils and staff to develop. There is a welcoming and positive ethos to make everyone feel welcome within a highly diverse school. The school are looking for someone to join their forward-looking team as soon as possible. The role is to start ASAP and will be a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Your new role
This will be a full-time role, maintaining the school’s financial management system. You will support the business manager with everything related to processing income and expenditure of the school. This will all be completed in Welsh. Day to day activities can include:

- Process weekly BACS run
- Update income registers
- Process invoices
- Produce purchase orders
- Reconcile bank statements
- Assist with the preparation and submission of statutory reports as required, for example, VAT reports or reconciliations to the local authority.
- Prepare reports for the head teacher and governors.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have previous experience working in a school finance role, or similar position. You will be able to use SIMS and FMS. You will have the ability to form effective working relationships and have good communication skills to maintain an effective communication network with the support staff.
