About the Job

Position: Senior Financial Accountant
Location: Hybrid - Primarily from home with just 2 days per month required in the office
Reports to: Deputy Financial Controller

The organisation is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to play a pivotal role in their financial accounting and external reporting. This role involves leading the year-end financial statement production and overseeing the annual statutory audit. Additionally, the successful candidate will spearhead projects aimed at reviewing and improving current processes and systems, ensuring streamlined workflows and better working practices.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Proven track record in UK statutory audit
  • Committed Christian with a personal relationship with God - the organisation has an occupational requirement to request this in line with the Equality act
  • Passionate about the organisation's mission and values

  • Salary: £55,380 per annum. There may be flexibility to go to £60,000 for the right candidate
