Financial Accountant - FMCG - High growth - Progressive role
Hays Senior Finance are partnering with a high-growth FMCG business based on the outskirts of Cheltenham, just off the M5, very accessible from Gloucester, Cheltenham and the Bristol area. The role itself is being a broad Financial Accountant. You will gain international experience as well as work for a household name. You will either come with a background in industry or a first-time mover from practice who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive environment.
Key Duties:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for US GAAP and European GAAP statutory accounts, including reconciliations and tax accounting.
- Support year-end audit and interim reviews.
- Provide accurate analytical and financial reporting which is insightful and identifies opportunities to the business and management.
- Support projects around continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls.
- Perform and support certain monthly closing activities.
- Support our internal customers with advice and a point of view.
- Provide support to other Financial Accountants if required.
