Finance Manager

Are you a dynamic and experienced finance professional looking to make a significant impact within a prestigious organisation?

Hays is delighted to have partnered with one of Scotland’s public sector bodies to appoint a finance manager to lead their finance function, reporting to the Head of Governance & Performance, in an attempt to maintain public trust, maximise financial value and support the timely delivery of strategic objectives.

Why Apply?
  • Competitive salary, £45,000 to £50,000
  • Incredible pension, in line with those paid to central and local government.
  • Afforded high levels of agency to lead a finance department.

  • Interaction with varied stakeholders; the board is composed of ministerial appointments, locally elected members and devolved authorities.
  • Amazing opportunity to upskill and develop.
  • Challenging, fast-paced and intense role but does not impact work/life balance.
  • Entirely flexible working hours with only 1–2 days in the office each week.

What You’ll Need
