Your new role
This is a newly created role, working alongside the Finance Director. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
- Conducting variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Reconciliation of bank statements.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborating with other departments to gather financial information and support business decision-making.
- Assisting in the preparation for audits and liaising with external auditors as required.
- Performing ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as needed.
