Part-Time Accounts Assistant | Formby | Hybrid

Job Title: Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Formby, Liverpool (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary:£28,000 FTE (Pro Rata for 25 Hours per Week)
Hours: 25 hours per week (Flexible working pattern, with increased availability expected around month-end and year-end)

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in finance within a supportive and flexible working environment. You’ll be involved in a variety of finance and administrative tasks, working closely with colleagues across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process purchase invoices, payments, and staff expenses
  • Reconcile bank transactions and supplier statements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Assist in ensuring financial compliance and adherence to internal controls
  • Support the finance team with administrative tasks and document management
  • Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional administrative needs
  • Assist with preparation for audits and financial reporting periods
  • Respond to internal and external queries in a timely and professional manner
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a finance or accounts support role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A flexible approach, especially around key reporting periods
