Your new role
As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Management Accountant and the wider finance team. You’ll be involved in a variety of finance tasks, ensuring accurate month-end accounts up to trial balance and delivering high-quality reporting.
Ideally, you will already be working in a similar role, with excellent Excel skills used in complex reporting.
You will be someone who communicates well with both finance and non-finance budget holders and can strengthen the working relationships with finance and the wider organisation.
You will also have an eye for detail, be able to work at a high level of accuracy all whilst working in a fast-based environment.

Your new role

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete month-end journals and nominal account reconciliations.
- Ensure all financial transactions comply with internal controls.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and bespoke financial reports.
- Support the management accountant across the following areas:
- audits
- fixed assets
- stock
- budgets
- forecasts
- project accounting.
Ideally, you will already be working in a similar role, with excellent Excel skills used in complex reporting.
