PR/Media Relations Manager job, London, £400/day, Asset Management

You’ll be joining one of Europe’s largest asset management firms. They’re focused on generating long-term, sustainable returns for their clients.
Your new role
As the UK Media Relations Manager, you’ll be the key contact between the business & the UK media to ensure the company is well represented in relevant publications. You’ll be responsible for developing PR campaigns & coordinating the media relations program.
This will include developing relations with industry trade press, proactively sourcing media opportunities, crisis comms, working with company spokespersons on key topics, & more. You’ll report into the Global Head of Relations & work closely with senior leaders, the UK Comms team, & group.
This interim role is expected to last for 12 months & is London-based. In-office for the first 3 months & then hybrid working.
What you’ll need to succeed
Up to £400/day PAYE (role is inside IR35). This is a great opportunity to work with a well-known name in the industry & get involved in an exciting range of PR/Media Relations work.

- Similar experience within the asset management (preferable) or wider financial services industry (essential)
- Knowledge and contacts within industry trade press & broader media outlets. Established press relationships would be highly advantageous
- Experience coordinating PR activities across multiple locations (especially USA & APAC)
