Your new company
This organisation is a public sector body based in Co. Antrim who have a large estate spanning several acres over a number of locations with a range of buildings varying in ages. They currently have an immediate requirement for an Architectural Technician to assist their estates department with their AutoCAD drawing records, files and project work on long term temporary basis.
Your new role
This is a temporary contract assignment for 9-12 months initially based from one of our clients sites in the Co. Antrim area that best suits your own commute. This role also offers hybrid working, based around 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
This role is large desk based with the responsibility for the management of Estate Services Drawing Record Database.
You will provide CAD support and assistance to all relevant teams within Estate Services and will be responsible for maintaining CAD drawing records and associated databases.
In addition you will take a proactive role in managing and updating CAD drawing records and the completion of measured building surveys which may require some site visits to carry out surveys from time to time.

What you'll need to succeed
To be eligible for this post you must have an HND/C in Building or Engineering related subject, plus 3 years experience.
Experience defined as having:
A detailed knowledge and experience of AutoCAD systems; and a sound knowledge of building design and mechanical and electrical systems; and a working knowledge of the Building Regulations.
What you'll get in return
This position offers an immediate start, paying a salary in the range of £29,970 to £36,483 pro rata.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Flexible start finish times.
37 days annual leave including statutory days pro rata.
Anticipated duration of 9-12 months.
Paid weekly via BACS transfer.
