Network & Security Architect - Pioneering Network Modernisation programme - Manchester/Hybrid to £65k!

Prestigious opportunity for a Network & Security Architect to join our pioneering Network Modernisation programme.
As our Network and Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the design and delivery of a modern, resilient, and secure enterprise network.
You will be responsible for:-

  • Supporting the design and delivery of our Network Modernisation Programme.
  • Developing secure, scalable, and resilient network architectures, including software-defined networking (SDN), cloud integration, and next-gen security solutions.
  • Overseeing the deployment of Cisco ISE, NAC policies, and Zero Trust principles to enhance security and access management.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to align network strategy with business and digital transformation goals.
  • Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Leading on network performance optimisation, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Providing technical leadership, mentoring colleagues, and championing best practices in network security architecture.

If you possess a combination of some of the following skills, then LET’S TALK!

  • Extensive experience in network and security architecture, preferably in a large and complex environment.
  • Strong expertise in enterprise networking, network security, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (ISE, Catalyst, SD-WAN, DNA Center and security frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of authentication protocols (802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+), firewalls, VPNs, and network access control (NAC).
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust security principles and network segmentation.
  • Experience in leading large-scale network transformation projects from inception to delivery.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, TOGAF) are highly desirable.
